A boy was in critical condition after being hit by a car in Southeast DC Wednesday, June 1, authorities said.

The boy was rushed to the hospital unconscious but still breathing after being hit in the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue near Potomac Avenue around 7:47 a.m, police said.

The boy was taken to a local hospital unconscious but breathing, police added. No other information was released.
